The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), within the framework of its Anniversary Week, will hold the Forum: The role of integration in Latin America and the Caribbean, on Wednesday 18 October, at 10:00 a.m., in the Orange Auditorium of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FACES) of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
The activity will be attended by the Rector of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), Dr. Victor Rago, who will deliver the lecture “Language and integration.” Then, the Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FACES-UCV), Dr. Luis Angarita, will speak on “The challenges of Latin American and Caribbean integration.”
In addition, the Ambassador of Argentina in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Chairman of the Latin American Council of SELA, Óscar Laborde, will deliver a lecture on “Integration as a pathway,” while the Ambassador of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Gareth Bynoe, will speak on “Latin American and Caribbean Integration.”
To conclude, the Permanent Secretary of SELA, Ambassador Clarems Endara, will deliver the lecture “New models for integration.”
The Forum: The role of integration in Latin America and the Caribbean aims to contribute to integration and sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean, through a debate on the challenges and new models for integration, from the academic world, organisations and institutions.
